Audit Manager /Senior Manager - Social Purpose Sector - London
Our client, a leading audit and advisory firm is seeking an experienced and ambitious Audit Manager or Senior Manager to join its award-winning team in London. The firm is recognised for its commitment to the social purpose and non profit sectors, delivering high-quality services to a diverse and high-profile client base. Flexible and part-time working arrangements are available, including location flexibility.
The successful candidate will work with a variety of organisations including charities, social housing providers, and education institutions. Clients range from start-ups to well-established entities such as international NGOs, grant makers, academies, membership bodies, professional associations, and many of the UK’s top 100 charities.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of external audit clients, delivering year-round service and maintaining strong relationships
- Lead multiple audit teams, ensuring work is completed within budget and timelines from planning to completion
- Serve as the principal contact for clients, providing proactive and responsive service
- Prepare and present reports to senior management and Audit Committees/Boards
- Coach and mentor audit teams to support their development and performance
- Participate in business development activities and maintain a professional network
- Contribute to proposals and presentations for new engagements
- Potential involvement in wider assurance services
- Engage in firm-wide initiatives and training programmes
Skills & Experience
- ACA, ICAS, ACCA or equivalent qualification
- Strong technical knowledge of auditing and accounting standards
- Proven people management skills with the ability to support and mentor junior colleagues
