Applications are open for craft workshop leaders to participate in HARVEST: Contemporary Craft Fair.
Craft Scotland is seeking craft workshop leaders to participate in HARVEST: Contemporary Craft Fair coming to Edinburgh this October. Coming to Edinburgh’s City Art Centre from 9 – 19 October, HARVEST: Contemporary Craft Fair presents an opportunity to increase access to craft with activities that bring people together. Craft Scotland is inviting applications from makers and craft practitioners based in Scotland who can propose and facilitate workshops during the fair.
We are particularly interested in workshop ideas for craft in the context of interiors, wearables and/or sustainability. Our programme of workshops will be a combination of drop-in, hands-on activities for all ages and ticketed activities for groups of adults with between 10 and 20 participants. We welcome proposals for workshops that are rooted in reuse, repair, or regeneration and activities that are hands-on, joyful, community-minded and accessible. Most importantly, they should be grounded in care for both people and planet.
