Year 2 Teacher

A supportive and friendly primary school in Hillingdon is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join their team from January. This is a long-term role for the remainder of the academic year, with a strong opportunity to move into a permanent position from September 2026.

About the Role

Full responsibility for a Year 2 class

Planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum

Supporting pupils as they prepare for KS1 expectations

Differentiating effectively to meet the needs of all learners, including SEN and EAL

Working collaboratively with a friendly and supportive staff team

Building positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues

The Ideal Candidate

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching in KS1 (Year 2 experience preferred)

Strong classroom management and positive behaviour strategies

Able to commit for the remainder of the academic year

Looking for stability and the opportunity to secure a permanent role
