Product Lead

London Hybrid, 2 to 3 days per week in the Liverpool Street office

We are looking for a Product Lead to join the team and oversee our pricing data and software. This role will work closely with our Technology and Commercial teams to build, iterate on and commercialise FXC’s pricing products. As a Product Lead at FXC Intelligence, you will help shape how global FX data is collected, validated and delivered to industry users, helping to power and expand our offerings. You will mentor Associate Product Managers, with the opportunity to manage them as you become more familiar with the business.

What you’ll be working on:

  • Owning FXC’s Pricing products, including setting the product roadmaps, end-to-end delivery of features, new feature development and release coordination

  • As you become more familiar with the business, taking over the management of a growing team of Analysts and Associate Product Managers and helping to develop them into more senior roles

  • Serving as the subject matter expert for the product, both internally and externally as needed

  • Gathering input from various stakeholders, such as our customers, sales team and operations, and translating it into product requirements, user stories, wireframes and acceptance criteria (with the Associate Product Managers and Analysts)

  • Your work will directly improve key metrics, such as increasing product stickiness, improving client usage, increasing data accuracy and driving general improvements based on insights

  • Market research, competitive analysis and domain learning in FX/market data

  • Documenting product designs, data flows and API specs, and ensuring backlogs are maintained in Jira

  • As our pricing product set evolves, there will be opportunities to take on broader leadership and management responsibilities within the department and company

About the Product team:

  • The Product team consists of 11 members, including Product Managers, Designers and Data/Product Analysts

  • The Product team is responsible for developing FXC’s core products, which are a mix of datasets, web platforms and APIs, along with new product proof-of-concepts. We work closely with the Technology, Commercial and Content teams and meet up regularly in person at our London office

You should apply if you have:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager on a technical / data-driven product

  • Experience building B2B products

  • Experience with Python and SQL

  • Experience with computer and/or data science, whether this is from commercial experience or education

  • Experience working with a cross-functional team in an agile environment

  • Experience working with large-scale datasets or data products

These skills will help, but aren’t essential, as we can provide training:

  • Exposure to FX, financial markets or pricing engines

  • Familiarity with enterprise software development

  • Familiarity with data visualisation

  • Understanding of JSON/ REST APIs, microservices
