Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recruitment Team Lead to join our London office and focus on expansion of our European Data Freelance Market. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in sourcing, attracting, and placing top freelance data professionals within our current and new client organisations across Europe as well as supporting a team of experienced and trainee consultants. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about technology recruitment, thrives in a fast-paced, high performing, results-driven environment and has prior experience in leading/mentoring a team to success.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for freelance data professionals, including candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
- Develop and maintain strong new business relationships with clients to understand their hiring needs and provide strategic recruitment solutions.
- Utilise various sourcing methods, including networking, referrals, job boards, and social media, to identify and engage top freelance data talent across Europe.
- Act as a trusted advisor to both clients and candidates, providing guidance and support throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and market developments to effectively advise clients and candidates on market conditions, project rates, and recruitment best practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless recruitment experience for both clients and candidates.
- Support Divisional Director in growing this division – headcount and revenue – as well as managing an existing team of recruiters.
- Working with our L&D function to ensure your team are receiving continuous training to develop/progress.
- Holding monthly reviews with team members to promote continuous growth and improvement.
- Actively seeking out new talent to join your join and working with Talent function to interview and onboard new members.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technology recruitment, with a focus on the freelance data market.
- 1-2 years’ experience in hands on managing or mentoring a team to success within Technology recruitment.
- Strong knowledge of the European data market, including data analytics, data science, data engineering, and related technologies.
- Proven track record of success in sourcing and placing freelance data professionals across Europe.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients and candidates.
- Highly organized with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
