1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant
A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Ealing is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with additional needs.

SEN Teaching Assistant – 1:1 Support
Full-Time Position
Primary School
Location: Ealing
You will work closely with one pupil on a one-to-one basis, supporting them to access the curriculum and engage fully in classroom activities. The role will involve implementing personalised strategies in line with the pupil’s individual support plan or EHCP, supporting emotional regulation, and encouraging independence and confidence.
Consistency, patience, and a proactive approach are essential, as you will play a key role in supporting both academic progress and social development.
Key Responsibilities
Providing dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with SEN
Implementing individual learning and behaviour strategies
Supporting engagement during lessons and structured activities
Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCo
Monitoring progress and providing regular feedback

Requirements
To be considered for the role of 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant you will:
- Providing dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with SEN
- Implementing individual learning and behaviour strategies
- Supporting engagement during lessons and structured activities
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCo
- Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Previous school-based experience
