Approved Electrician
Salary: £45,000 + Overtime + Standby/Call-Out

Benefits: Company Vehicle, 28 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays, Pension, Training & Career Progression The Opportunity An established and growing electrical services business is looking for an experienced Approved Electrician to join their Operations & Maintenance team. This is a field-based role covering London and the Home Counties, working across a range of commercial, industrial and utility environments. The role will involve a good mix of planned and reactive maintenance, inspection and testing, fault finding, repairs and minor electrical works. You’ll be expected to work independently, manage your own workload and represent the business professionally when dealing with clients. There will also be opportunities to take the lead on site and support other electricians where required. The Role Your responsibilities will include: Carrying out planned preventative maintenance Attending reactive electrical call-outs Electrical inspection and testing Fault finding and diagnosis Electrical repairs and remedial works Minor installation works Working on distribution equipment, switchgear and associated electrical infrastructure Completing digital testing and job reports Reading electrical drawings and schematics Identifying parts and materials required for works Providing information for future quotations Working in accordance with RAMS, ITPs and company procedures Taking the lead on site when required Supporting and overseeing other electricians Communicating with clients and site personnel Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard About You The successful candidate will ideally have: NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent AM218th Edition ECS Gold Card Minimum 2 years' electrical experience Experience in electrical maintenance, testing and fault finding Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics Full UK Driving Licence Good communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and use your own initiative A professional and reliable approach to work Desirable qualifications/experience: Commercial, industrial or utility experience Operations & Maintenance experience IPAF PASMA First Aid at Work Previous standby or emergency response experience Package £45,000 basic salary Overtime available Standby/call-out allowance Company vehicle 28 days annual leave + Bank Holidays Company pension Ongoing training and development Career progression opportunities Long-term position with an established and growing business Apply Now If you’re an Approved Electrician looking for a stable, long-term opportunity with overtime, standby payments and a company vehicle, this could be a great next step.
