Learning Support Assistant in Chelsea
Learning Support Assistant role to start ASAP at a friendly and inclusive primary school in Chelsea, West London.
This is a great opportunity to make a real impact to children's lives, joining a team of likeminded hardworking support staff as a Learning Support Assistant.
Working full-time as an LSA, you will be:
- Delivering interventions and monitoring the progress of key children, both 1:1 and in small groups
- Supporting children with SEND within the classroom and in smaller groups to ensure they can reach their full potential and access the full curriculum
- Providing a supportive, safe and positive learning environment in which each child is able to thrive
- Supporting non-verbal children with Speech and Language activities
- Calm under pressure and able to use your initiative
- Assisting with the development and implementation of individual learning plans for key children
- Supporting children to reach the targets on their EHCPs and/or IEPs
As a Learning Support Assistant you will be working long-term until the end of the academic year, with the potential to go permanent thereafter. You will be able to see how your key children progress and develop across the school year with your support, and it is a very rewarding role knowing you're making a difference for the children you work with.
Located in Chelsea, this school is easily accessed thanks to the great transport links and local parking.
