A highly regarded Grammar School in Sutton (ages 11–18) is seeking an enthusiastic Geography Teacher (ECT) to join their successful Humanities Department from September.

The Geography department is a supportive and collaborative team committed to delivering an engaging curriculum that develops students’ understanding of global issues, environmental change and geographical enquiry.
ECTs joining the school benefit from a well-structured induction programme that includes mentoring, training sessions and opportunities to observe experienced teachers.
The Role
As a Geography ECT, you will:
• Teach engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Support the department in delivering a broad and stimulating geography curriculum.
• Participate in enrichment opportunities including fieldwork and geography clubs.
• Benefit from strong mentoring and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
• Is completing their PGCE or equivalent qualification and holds QTS.
• Has a passion for Geography and environmental issues.
• Demonstrates enthusiasm and commitment to high-quality teaching.
• Builds positive relationships with students and colleagues.
• Is eager to contribute to the wider life of the school.
