What You’ll Be Doing As an Early Years Assistant , you’ll work alongside our experienced nursery team, supporting children through play, learning and everyday routines while developing your own skills within a caring and supportive environment. You will:Support the nursery team to provide a warm, welcoming and home-from-home environment for every child.
Help create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment where children can learn through play.
Assist in delivering engaging activities that encourage children’s curiosity, creativity and development.
Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
Support children’s daily routines, helping them feel happy, safe and secure.
Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming nursery environment.
Observe and celebrate children’s achievements, supporting their learning and development.
Follow Kindred’s policies and procedures, promoting safeguarding, health and safety at all times.
Attend staff meetings, training sessions and nursery events.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide outstanding care and education.
What You’ll Need Essential:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A positive, caring and enthusiastic approach.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
A willingness to learn and develop within an Early Years environment.
A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
Desirable:Previous experience working with children.
Experience within an Early Years or childcare setting.
Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
Food Hygiene Certificate.
