Talent Partner

Initial 3 month contract, potential to extend

£35,000-£40,000 annual salary equivalent

We are looking for a (Junior) Embedded Talent Partner to help identify and attract top talent to join our client’s team. Beginning on a 3 month contract this position will play a pivotal role in supporting the growth of our expanding client. There is every possibility the role will be extended, depending on performance.

About Us and Our Client:

Russell Tobin’s embedded recruitment team strengthens our client’s business by working as an extension of their talent acquisition team.

Our client was founded in the 1980’s as a leading B2B legal publisher. They are now a data-driven, AI-optimised research platform that benchmarks, informs, and connects providers and users of legal services in over 100 countries worldwide.

Their research and data are trusted and relied upon by corporate clients globally as an essential part of instructing law firms with new mandates and reviewing existing mandates or panels.

They exist to empower both buyers and sellers in the international legal marketplace to make better decisions and achieve improved outcomes. This is accomplished by leveraging a trusted, comprehensive research process with a unique, vast, proprietary, and constantly updated set of client-supplied data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with hiring managers and senior stakeholders, providing regular updates on recruitment progress and addressing their needs.
  • Recruitment Lifecycle: Manage the recruitment process from initial screening calls to interview coordination, offer management and onboarding for new hires.
  • Recruitment Data Analysis: Track and analyse recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of strategies and identify areas for improvement within hiring processes.
  • Employer Branding: Collaborate with the Marketing team to contribute to the development and implementation of employer branding initiatives to enhance our reputation as an attractive employer via social media and recruitment events.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Ideally, at least two-three years of experience in either an agency setting (preferably in professional services) or in-house in an SME environment.
  • Strong track record of successfully sourcing candidates from areas such as Sales, Research/Editorial, Technology, Marketing, and Operations (confident use of LinkedIn Recruiter is essential).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools; familiarity with Screenloop as an ATS is a plus.
  • Data-led mindset, understanding the impact of clean data on influencing direction with stakeholders.
  • Curiosity and critical thinking skills, particularly in challenging hiring managers on their recruitment needs.
  • Adaptability and an open mind to different situations, finding solutions to hiring-related problems.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, international environment.
  • Knowledge of recruitment best practices and industry trends.
  • Experience hiring for research and editorial teams.
  • A general understanding of the legal and/or publishing industry.

Working Arrangements:

We operate a hybrid work policy: 3 days in the office (City of London) and 2 days remote.

Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 per annum.
