Audit Assistant Manager
Audit Assistant Manager - Technology & Media
London
Up to £53,000 + Overtime + Bonus
I'm currently working with a leading professional services firm that is looking to hire an Audit Assistant Manager into its Technology & Media team in London.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a recently qualified or newly stepped-up Assistant Manager to join a high-performing audit team focused on ambitious, fast-growing and entrepreneurial businesses operating across the technology and media space. The firm has a strong reputation in the market, an excellent people culture, and a clear commitment to career development, making it an attractive move for someone looking to build their long-term future in audit.
The role will suit an individual who is comfortable taking ownership of their work, managing day-to-day audit assignments, and working closely with senior stakeholders while continuing to develop their technical and people management skills. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality audit work, supervising and coaching junior staff on-site, and supporting the wider team in producing accurate and transparent reporting for clients and stakeholders.
The successful candidate will ideally be a qualified ACA, ACCA or ICAS professional, or overseas equivalent, with a solid grounding in audit within a practice environment. You will need a good working knowledge of UK and International auditing standards, IFRS, UK GAAP and broader financial reporting requirements, along with an understanding of regulation, compliance and wider business issues. Exposure to current market and economic trends, particularly within entrepreneurial and high-growth sectors, will also be valuable.
This opportunity offers the chance to join a collaborative and well-supported environment where professional development is taken seriously. The firm offers a modern and flexible approach to working, strong mentoring and coaching support, and genuine scope to progress as your career develops.
Key requirements:
- ACA / ACCA / ICAS qualified, or overseas equivalent
- Degree educated or equivalent
- Experience supervising and coaching junior staff on audits
- Good knowledge of UK and International GAAS
- Strong understanding of IFRS, UK GAAP and financial reporting
- Awareness of regulation, compliance and anti-money laundering requirements
- Good communication skills and the confidence to work proactively with senior stakeholders
- Strong awareness of current market and economic trends
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Audit Senior or existing Assistant Manager looking to step into a strong sector-focused team with real progression, high-quality clients and a supportive culture.
