SEN Teaching Assistant
Primary SEN Teaching Assistant - Waltham Forest, London Do you have experience working one-to-one or in small groups with pupils who need a little extra help? We are currently looking for a dedicated Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and welcoming primary school in Waltham Forest, London. This is a chance to make a genuine difference in the lives of young learners who will truly benefit from your patience, positivity and care. About the Role Full-time, long-term contract (until July 2026) Located in Waltham Forest, London £89-£110 per day Excellent transport links Rated GOOD by Ofsted What You'll Be Doing As a SEN TA, you'll work closely with pupils who require additional support, helping them access the curriculum and thrive in the classroom. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting children with a range of SEN needs Assisting the class teacher with IEPs and personalised support strategies Creating or adapting resources to suit individual learning styles Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing Working collaboratively with the SENCO and external professionals Helping to maintain an inclusive, engaging and nurturing classroom environment What We're Looking For Ideally previous experience working with children (primary experience preferred) Be a recent graduate with a relevant degree A genuine passion for supporting pupils with SEN Strong communication skills and a calm, patient manner A valid enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) Someone who lives within a commutable distance to Waltham Forest, London If you're a caring, committed and enthusiastic individual who wants to make a real impact, we'd love to hear from you.
