Job Title: Security Officer
Location: Covent Garden, London
Salary: £16.65 per hour
Hours: 42 hours per week, 4 on 4 off (early/late/night shifts)
Contract Type: Permanent

About the Role
We are seeking professional and reliable Security Officers to join our team at our new Covent Garden site. You will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of the premises, employees, and visitors. This position requires individuals who are alert, customer-focused, and able to respond effectively to security incidents.

Main Responsibilities

• Carry out all security duties as specified, ensuring full compliance with site assignment instructions.

• Monitor and control access to the site, ensuring all visitors and contractors are correctly identified and escorted where necessary.

• Conduct regular patrols to maintain security and safety across the premises.

• Respond promptly and appropriately to security incidents and alarms.

• Complete relevant security documentation and reports accurately and in a timely manner.

• Deliver excellent customer service to staff and visitors at all times.

What You Bring

• A valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence (essential).

• Prior experience in a security role, ideally within a high-profile or corporate environment.

• Ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends, as part of a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations professionally.

• Additional qualifications as detailed in the job description are desirable.

• Security vetting clearance will be required prior to commencement.
