Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 (DOE)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a National Account Executive to join a growing FMCG business. Reporting to the Senior National Account Manager, you’ll work closely with the wider commercial team to support the management of key retail accounts, helping to strengthen relationships and drive business growth. This is an entry-level role, ideal for someone looking to build a career in account management within a fast-moving and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Work alongside National Account Managers to support the management of major customer accounts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customer contacts, ensuring a professional and proactive service.
• Support the delivery of large-scale projects and events.
• Manage customer online catalogues and portals, ensuring product listings are accurate and up to date.
• Assist in the preparation of commercial presentations, reports and sales analysis.
• Collaborate with internal teams across Supply Chain, Finance and Operations to deliver seamless customer service.
• Provide administrative support, including meeting coordination, minute-taking and action tracking.
• Monitor and analyse customer performance data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Maintain accurate internal and customer master data records.
• Handle customer service queries from head offices and retail sites promptly and effectively.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience working with customers in a sales or account support capacity.
• Strong analytical and numerical ability with great attention to detail.
• Excellent administrative and organisational skills.
• Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions.
• A collaborative, proactive team player with a positive attitude.
