Analytics Lead
Central London | 4 days in office| Up to £70,000
A leading hospitality and travel provider is seeking a Analytics Lead to support the Director of Finance in shaping pricing strategies and optimising revenue streams across multiple locations. This newly created role offers the opportunity to influence business decisions at a strategic level while building out the company’s commercial analytics capability.
As the organisation advances its data maturity, the Analytics Lead will act as a trusted partner to senior leadership, bringing structure, insight, and clarity to financial and commercial analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Finance and Commercial teams to assess revenue performance, pricing strategy, and profitability across varied markets.
- Build and maintain SQL pipelines and Power BI dashboards to deliver clear, actionable insights.
- Lead and mentor a small analytics team, embedding best practice and consistency across the function.
- Establish reporting frameworks, data models, and data dictionaries to enable self-service and scalability.
- Support budgeting and forecasting by leveraging historical data and market intelligence to convert top-line targets into operational goals.
- Deliver ad hoc analysis on campaigns, promotions, and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders, technology teams, and external partners to ensure analytics projects meet business requirements and are delivered successfully.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong SQL skills and proven experience with data visualisation tools, particularly Power BI.
- A background in commercial or financial analytics, with the ability to translate data into strategic insights.
- Experience managing or mentoring analysts and fostering a best-practice culture.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work across finance, commercial, and technology teams.
- A proactive, commercially minded approach, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
