ROLE DESCRIPTION
As a Senior Manager and Engagement Lead for Qlik Solutions in the UK, this position offers the opportunity to drive the growth of the business Qlik practice while ensuring high-impact client engagements. The ideal candidate will leverage their deep expertise in Qlik Sense, Qlik View, and related technologies to provide strategic advisory services, lead complex implementations, and play a hands-on role both in pre-sales and in direct client delivery. A strong network within the industry and the ability to nurture client relationships will be highly valued, supporting the development of new opportunities and successful projects.
They are looking for a proven track record with Qlik solutions, substantial client-facing experience, and an existing network or portfolio would be an advantage. The role is hands-on and ideal for someone who enjoys taking client projects from opportunity through to delivery while shaping commercial strategy.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Growth & Pre-Sales Leadership
- Lead pre-sales activities, identifying opportunities and effectively positioning the business Qlik capabilities-including the potential to
introduce relevant client networks or projects previously managed - Develop and execute a sales strategy to expand the Qlik practice in the UK
and internationally - Drive the growth of Account Management and Customer Success functions, ensuring active client relationships
Build and maintain strategic partnerships with technology providers to strengthen market position
Client Engagement & Advisory
- Operate as the main Engagement Lead for Qlik clients, with significant direct involvement in project delivery and client advisory
- Provide expert consulting on Qlik solutions-data analysis, modelling, process design, and architecture-serving as a trusted advisor to clients
- Guide clients in leveraging Qlik to support strategic decisions and performance management, particularly for large international businesses
Project Steering & Financial Oversight
- Steer multiple complex Qlik projects, ensuring timely, on-budget delivery
- Validate budgets and proactively manage issues for project success
- Lead the functional and technical development of tailored Qlik solutions, ensuring best practices in deployment-including advanced components like NPrinting and Qlik Catalog
Team Leadership & Resource Management
- Mentor, coach, and supervise consultants and junior team members, managing both project and organisational performance
- Accurately forecast resource needs to ensure optimal team utilisation
Entrepreneurial Drive
- Thrive as a self-starter, contributing to the business dynamic, start-up-oriented UK culture-leveraging networks and experience to generate new opportunities
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- A degree in a specialised field (such as Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Supply chain, Management Engineering, Computer
Engineering, Computer Science) - Minimum 10 years’ experience in a consulting environment, with a track record of leading projects, teams and engaging directly with clients
- Deep, hands-on expertise in Qlik Sense, Qlik View, and related technologies, with experience designing and implementing complex BI and analytics solutions
- Demonstrable experience in pre-sales, business development, and client advisory
- Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring and managing international teams
