Principal Mechanical Design Engineer
Principal Mechanical Design Engineer £60,000 - £70,000 per annum DOE + Travel + Car Allowance London Due to several recent major project wins and in line with an ambitious growth plan, we are looking for a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to join the London office of a tier one Mechanical and Electrical Sub-Contractor. The Company * Tier one Sub-Contractor, specialising in Data Centres, Commercial and Fit-Out projects. * Established Design team, split between mechanical and electrical, with a wealth of experience. * Central London office close to major transport links. Key Responsibilities * The Principal Mechanical Engineer will take a lead role on the successful delivery of innovative mechanical/ HVAC design on critical infrastructure projects in the UK and Europe. * The Principal Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for attending design team and client meetings and working with the wider multi-disciplinary engineering design team. * The Principal Mechanical Design Engineer will take responsibility for training and mentoring less experienced Engineers in the team. Skills and Background * Background in commercial or life science projects, with new build and fit out experience required. * Competence on IES, Revit and Bluebeam. * Educated to Degree level or equivalent in either mechanical engineering or building services engineering.
