Casting Assistant
Contact is looking for a Casting Assistant with hands-on casting experience to support ongoing projects, with an initial focus on the Dermalogica account. This is a practical, detail-driven role suited to someone who understands real-world casting workflows and enjoys working closely with talent, agents, and clients to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting casting across beauty, lifestyle, and commercial campaigns
- Managing casting briefs and translating client requirements into talent searches
- Researching, shortlisting, and presenting talent options to clients
- Liaising with talent, agents, and managers on availability, rates, and logistics
- Coordinating self-tapes, castings, and callbacks
- Assisting with booking confirmations, contracts, and production coordination
- Maintaining accurate records across casting and production tools
- Acting as day-to-day casting support on the Dermalogica account
Requirements:
- Experience as a Casting Assistant (or similar casting role)
- Strong understanding of casting processes within fashion, beauty, or commercial production
- Experience working directly with talent agencies and freelance creatives
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
Nice to Have:
- Experience working with beauty or skincare brands
- Familiarity with casting platforms, talent databases, or production tools
- Interest in talent management, production, or creative operations

Location & Contract:
- London-based (hybrid or flexible considered)
- Freelance or contract role, with potential for longer-term collaboration
Working Hours & Flexibility:
- This role will operate primarily on New York (EST) working hours, to align with client timelines and production schedules.
