London

Contact is looking for a Casting Assistant with hands-on casting experience to support ongoing projects, with an initial focus on the Dermalogica account. This is a practical, detail-driven role suited to someone who understands real-world casting workflows and enjoys working closely with talent, agents, and clients to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting casting across beauty, lifestyle, and commercial campaigns
  • Managing casting briefs and translating client requirements into talent searches
  • Researching, shortlisting, and presenting talent options to clients
  • Liaising with talent, agents, and managers on availability, rates, and logistics
  • Coordinating self-tapes, castings, and callbacks
  • Assisting with booking confirmations, contracts, and production coordination
  • Maintaining accurate records across casting and production tools
  • Acting as day-to-day casting support on the Dermalogica account

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Casting Assistant (or similar casting role)
  • Strong understanding of casting processes within fashion, beauty, or commercial production
  • Experience working directly with talent agencies and freelance creatives
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Confident written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working with beauty or skincare brands
  • Familiarity with casting platforms, talent databases, or production tools
  • Interest in talent management, production, or creative operations

We’re open to candidates who are:

  • Freelancing or working across multiple projects
  • Looking for a flexible role alongside existing commitments
  • Interested in a longer-term collaboration as the business grows
  • This position is well-suited to someone who wants to develop their career in casting and talent operations, gain exposure to global clients, and grow within the fashion, beauty, and creative industries while maintaining flexibility

Location & Contract:

  • London-based (hybrid or flexible considered)
  • Freelance or contract role, with potential for longer-term collaboration

Working Hours & Flexibility:

  • This role will operate primarily on New York (EST) working hours, to align with client timelines and production schedules.

Why Work With Contact:

  • Work on a globally recognised beauty brand (Dermalogica)
  • Be part of a progressive casting and talent platform trusted by leading fashion and culture brands
  • Collaborate with a small, high-quality team operating across casting, production, and technology
  • Opportunity to grow alongside Contact and LÜK as the platform continues to scale
