Job description
Real Estate Finance Associate (NQ–2PQE) – Elite US Law Firm – Central London
Our client, a prestigious US law firm with a top-tier reputation in real estate finance, is seeking a junior associate (NQ–2PQE) to join its highly regarded team in London. This is an outstanding opportunity to work on high-profile, cross-border transactions for leading financial institutions, private equity sponsors, credit funds, and real estate investors.
About the Firm
Our client is a globally recognised US law firm with a strong presence in London and a reputation for excellence across finance, private capital, and real estate. The London office is a key hub for the firm’s international practice, offering a full-service platform to clients across Europe, the US, and Asia.
The real estate finance team is widely recognised as a market leader, known for advising on complex, innovative transactions involving a broad range of asset classes. The team regularly acts for lenders, borrowers, and sponsors on investment and development financings, loan-on-loan structures, and bespoke transactions, including private CMBS and warehousing deals. They are also known for their collaborative, multidisciplinary approach and ability to deliver practical solutions on both UK and cross-border matters.
The Role

- Supporting cross-border deals and collaborating with colleagues in other practice areas
- Advising on restructuring, refinancing, and special situations
You will gain exposure to headline transactions and work directly with clients from day one, benefiting from the firm’s integrated global platform.
What They’re Looking For
- NQ–2PQE, ideally UK qualified (strong international candidates considered)
- Experience in real estate finance or general banking and finance from a leading international or City firm
- Strong academic background and technical skills
- Commercial mindset, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with excellent communication and client-handling skills
