The Opportunity
Wayman Education is seeking an intellectually curious and inspiring Geography Teacher to join a high-achieving secondary school in the prestigious Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea . The Role
We are looking for a specialist who can navigate both Physical and Human Geography with ease. You will be responsible for teaching Key Stage 3 through to Key Stage 5 , delivering a curriculum that explores everything from global geopolitical shifts to the localized impacts of urban regeneration and climate change.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Delivery: Lead high-level academic discussions on tectonic hazards, atmospheric systems, and global development.
Fieldwork Leadership: Organize and lead local and international fieldwork opportunities, utilizing the unique urban environment of London and beyond.
Exam Excellence: Support students through GCSE and A-Level examinations (AQA or Edexcel), focusing on high-level evaluative writing and data analysis.
Sustainability Advocacy: Play a lead role in the school’s environmental initiatives, helping students engage with contemporary issues like the "Green Economy" and net-zero targets.

Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A strong degree in Geography or an Environmental Science discipline.
Proven experience teaching Geography at Key Stage 5 (A-Level) .
A passion for fieldwork and a commitment to making Geography "real" for urban students.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to challenge high-attaining pupils.
