We are seeking an inspirational, highly experienced, and committed Part-Time Teacher of A-Level Mathematics to join the thriving faculty at a prestigious independent school located in the exclusive Kensington area of Central London.
This is a part-time, permanent position (exact FTE to be discussed, likely 0.5 - 0.7) starting in January 2026 .

The Opportunity
The successful applicant will be an outstanding Maths specialist with a proven track record of teaching A-Level Mathematics (including Pure, Statistics, and Mechanics) and, ideally, Further Mathematics. You will be joining an intellectually vibrant environment where academic rigour and excellent student outcomes are the standard. This role focuses purely on high-quality instruction and preparing high-ability students for entrance to top universities. The part-time nature offers excellent flexibility for a candidate seeking reduced hours.

We Are Looking For:
- A qualified teacher with a strong degree in Mathematics or a related field ( QTS is desirable but not always essential in the independent sector).
- Extensive, proven experience teaching Mathematics exclusively at A-Level (KS5).
- A genuine passion for the subject and the ability to inspire and challenge intellectually curious, high-achieving students.
- High academic standards and meticulous attention to detail in planning and assessment.
- Availability to commit to a part-time schedule (specific days/hours to be agreed upon).

- Highly Competitive Salary (Pro-Rata): The specific salary will be significantly above the national pay scales (reflecting Inner London costs), calculated pro-rata based on the agreed-upon FTE.
