Content Lead (Maternity Cover) (Hiring Immediately)
Role overview
We are seeking a versatile, high-energy Content Lead to join us for a maternity cover contract. This is a pivotal role that sits at the heart of our brand, requiring a rare blend of creative storytelling and operational excellence.
You will be the guardian of our brand voice, responsible for producing high-quality written content at pace while managing multiple moving parts. We need someone who can hit the ground running, react quickly to shifting priorities, and maintain a high standard of work under tight deadlines.
Key responsibilities
- Editorial brand voice and storytelling: Act as the lead writer for the business, ensuring all communications – from in-app copy to longer-form blog articles – tell a consistent, engaging story that adheres to our specific brand tone.
- Project management: Manage the end-to-end delivery of a diverse range of projects across the brand and app, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and deadlines are met.
- Reactive content management and copywriting: Respond to immediate business and marketing needs by producing clear, impactful comms.
- Workflow coordination: Juggle content and comms tasks across different departments, prioritising effectively to ensure the most critical work is delivered first.
- Proof-reading: Reviewing all outgoing materials for accuracy, tone, and brand alignment before they reach their final audience.
- Supportive social media management : Support the the day-to-day presence of our app social channels, ensuring these platforms remain active, reactive, and on-brand.
Requirements
- Exceptional writing ability: You are a wordsmith at heart. You can take complex ideas and turn them into engaging, simple prose that fits our brand personality perfectly.
- Creative content management : You have the vision to lead a content roadmap from ideation to execution, ensuring every piece of content serves a business goal and pushes creative boundaries.
- Strategic organisation: You have a proven track record of managing a heavy workload. You are the person who has a plan for everything and never lets a ball drop.
- Agility and speed: You thrive in a fast-paced environment. You are comfortable with ambiguity and can pivot your focus quickly when business needs change.
- Stakeholder management: You have the confidence to manage stakeholders, suggest creative direction, and make decisions on content quality.
- Attention to detail: In a fast-moving role, your eye for detail remains sharp, ensuring every piece of work is polished, on brand and professional.
