The Role
We are looking to recruit an exceptional Senior Associate or Counsel to play a leading role within our derivatives practice. This position offers the opportunity to work on some of the market's most complex and high-profile transactions while taking significant responsibility for client relationships, matter management and junior lawyer development.
The successful candidate will be a recognised technical specialist with extensive experience advising on complex derivatives structures and associated regulatory issues. You will act as a trusted adviser to clients, lead transaction teams and support the strategic growth of the practice.
Key Skills and Experience.
Qualified as a solicitor in England & Wales (candidates with experience from other jurisdictions may also be considered)
Experience at a top-tier UK, US, or international law firm, with a focus on derivatives and structured finance
A strong academic background, with a solid understanding of derivatives products and financial markets
Demonstrate deep expertise in ISDA documentation, collateral arrangements, structured derivatives and related regulatory frameworks.
Have a strong track record of leading complex transactions and managing client relationships.
Possess excellent technical, drafting and negotiation skills.
Demonstrate strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking.
Be confident supervising junior lawyers and contributing to the development of the wider practice.
Have experience supporting business development and helping to grow client relationships.
