Product Development Project Leader

We’re supporting an innovative product-led technology business developing high-performance products enabled by advanced materials technologies across multiple sectors.

As part of continued innovation investment, we’re looking for a Product Development Project Manager to drive development programmes from concept through to commercialisation.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a technical product development, innovation or project leadership background who enjoys taking products from idea through to launch.

Location : South London / Surrey border (On-site with some flexibility)

The Role

You’ll lead technical product development projects through planning, coordination and delivery, working across R&D, suppliers, manufacturing and commercial teams.

This is a delivery-focused role combining technical understanding with genuine project ownership across multiple innovation programmes.

You’ll be involved in:

• Leading product development projects from concept through to launch.

• Coordinating cross-functional teams across development, testing, manufacturing and commercial functions.

• Managing project plans, milestones, risks and technical deliverables.

• Working with suppliers and manufacturing partners to support scale-up, implementation and product readiness.

• Reviewing technical data, troubleshooting issues and supporting decision-making.

• Supporting innovation across high-performance product applications.

• Collaborating with international teams, including occasional overseas travel.

About You

• Product Development

• Technical Project Management

• Innovation / NPI

• Product Engineering

• Materials / Polymer Product Development

We’d like to see experience in some of the following:

• Leading technical or product development projects

• Product development in a manufacturing or technical environment

• Cross-functional stakeholder management across engineering, suppliers and manufacturing

• NPI, scale-up or implementation experience

• Working with external suppliers or manufacturing partners

• Commercial awareness around performance, cost, timelines and delivery
