Audit Senior Role Overview
As an Audit Senior , you will play a key role in delivering high-quality audits across a broad portfolio of clients. You'll take ownership from planning to completion, supervise and mentor junior team members, and work closely with experienced Managers and Partners who value collaboration and professional growth.
The role is 95-100% audit-focused , giving you the chance to develop deep technical expertise and client exposure in a supportive and forward-thinking environment
Audit Senior Key Responsibilities
- Lead audits from planning through to completion, ensuring high-quality delivery.
- Supervise and review the work of junior team members (typically 2-3 per engagement).
- Prepare financial statements under FRS 102 and FRS 102 1A .
- Build strong client relationships across a range of sectors.
- Liaise directly with Partners and Managers, contributing to continuous improvement.
- Use leading software including CCH and CaseWare .
About You
- ACA or ACCA qualified (finalists and candidates who have resits will be considered).
- Minimum four years' UK practice experience .
- Proven experience leading audits from start to finish.
- Strong knowledge of FRS 102 and FRS 102 1A (FRS 101/IFRS desirable).
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive and adaptable team player with a commercial mindset.
A driving licence is not essential; travel to client sites is supported via public transport where needed

Interview Process
- First Stage: 45-minute MS Teams interview with two Managers (including the Audit Partner).
- Second Stage: In-person office visit with colleagues and Partners.
