The Opportunity & Contract Profile

Join the operational team of a leading independent school known for its extensive campus. This critical role requires strategic planning, contractor management, and direct responsibility for the safe, efficient running of the entire estate.

  • Contract: Full-Time, Permanent (52 weeks per year). Part-time hours may be considered for a highly experienced candidate.

Core Responsibilities & Duties Scope

  • Operational Leadership: Full management and supervision of the premises staff (caretakers, cleaning, maintenance).
  • Compliance & Safety: Responsibility for all site security, H&S compliance, and managing all statutory inspections and record-keeping.
  • Facilities Management: Oversight of routine maintenance schedules, contractor procurement, and management of the premises budget.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Essential Requirements: Proven experience in facilities management and relevant H&S qualifications.
  • Salary: Highly competitive salary, dependent on experience and qualifications (ranging from £38,000 – £45,000+ FTE).
