Chef - Orpington
This job contributes to Retail & Events Department by assisting a team of partners (employees) to create and maintain the Retail & Events experience for our customers and all partners.
The Chef De Partie assist in the running the operation of the kitchen & Hospitality, ensuring customer satisfaction and product quality, actively assisting to manage the financial performance, and helping to manage safety and security within the department. Main duties of the jobEnsure food and beverage costs are within Trust budget and to ensure the maximum overall. Responsible for controlling, analysing and ensuring the optimum performance, on an ongoing basis for, a) Quality levels of production and presentation, b) Customer satisfaction, c) Operating, payroll and food costs, d) Cleanliness, sanitation and hygiene in all kitchen areas. Responsible for the production, preparation and presentation of all food items to ensure highest quality at all times. Required to participate in all of the tasks performed by the retail & events kitchen team as necessary in accordance with the requirements of the kitchen. Assist in the daily operation of the kitchens, ensuring guests and staff is catered for to the appropriate standard and in keeping with our food policy. Assist the review and develop the menu on a regular basis to cater for repeat visits.
