Technical Consultant Wealth Management
Drive digital transformation in wealth management. Join us as a Technical Consultant to help banks and wealth managers integrate our OPAL financial planning solution for tomorrow’s financial landscape.
Do you want to support banks and wealth managers to make better investment decisions for their clients and reach their clients’ financial goals? Are you interested in applying your analytical skills and further developing yourself within a dynamic and international operating organization? Are you a team player? Don’t wait and apply for the Technical Consultant role in our young and dynamic Global Wealth Management Solutions team!
What do we have to offer?
As a Technical Consultant, you’ll work closely with our colleagues based in our London and Dutch offices. You’ll have regular direct contact with clients and prospects, primarily UK wealth managers and banks, supporting them with the technical aspects of our OPAL solution and wider ecosystem.
OPAL is our advanced Goal-Based Financial Planning tool, designed to help UK financial advisers translate client goals into optimal investment strategies. It incorporates personal ambitions, cash flow projections, and risk appetite, while enabling advisers to monitor progress over time. Its built-in economic scenario generator allows advisers to stress-test plans across a range of market conditions.
We work closely with clients to understand their needs to streamline their advice journeys. Underpinned by OPAL, we are creating an ecosystem that can support whole advice journeys for clients.
In this role, you’ll gain hands-on exposure to how investment strategy and financial planning come together in practice. Working with banks and wealth managers, you’ll see how portfolios are built, how risk and uncertainty are assessed, and how long-term plans are shaped around real client goals such as retirement income, major life events, and financial security. You’ll help translate this planning and investment logic into modern digital experiences, working with APIs, data feeds, and reporting tools that underpin today’s advice and planning platforms.
Alongside this, you’ll act as a trusted technical partner—supporting integrations, solving problems, and delivering training that helps advisers and planning teams use our tools confidently. The role offers a clear progression path into senior consultancy, investment and planning analytics, solution architecture, or product and proposition leadership. You’ll develop highly transferable skills across financial planning, investment modelling, scenario analysis, and client communication, supported by a flexible working model that combines office time, remote working, and occasional client visits in the UK and internationally.
