FM Conway is currently seeking a Groundworker to join our Street Lighting Division. As an NRSWA-trained Groundworker, you will be part of our Street Lighting team, carrying out reinstatement and excavation work on a range of high-profile projects. This is a full-time, permanent position based at our Paddington office, working on a range of prestigious projects in Westminster.
The duties of the role will include:
- Interpreting scaled drawings of basic electrical installations
- Maintaining plant, vehicle, and materials record sheets to support the works programme as well as ensuring all plant is fit for purpose and inspected daily
- Working within a small team on electrical street lighting installations
- Being conscientious of utility / incident reporting via the Customer Care team and having an awareness of all environmental escalation procedures & processes
What skills and experience do you need?
As a Groundworker , you will hold your NRSWA Units 1-9 tickets and CSCS card, with previous experience in groundworkers, ideally including excavations and reinstatements in composite, modular, granular and asphalt surfaces. This role will involve travel to other FM Conway and customer locations, therefore, you must hold a full UK driving licence.
