Graduate Teaching Assistant: You Role
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Support the class teachers across KS3-KS5, providing targeted academic and emotional support to students
- Deliver 1-1 and small group interventions in your specialist subject area
- Help plan and adapt lessons/ learning materials to meet individual needs
- Support classroom management, behaviour strategies and student engagement
Graduate Teaching Assistant: Candidate Specification
KPi Education are searching for a Graduate Teaching Assistant who holds:
- 2:1 or 1 st degree, preferably from a Russell Group or top-30 university, in STEM, English, MFL, Humanities, Psychology or related subject
- Strong academic background through GCSE’s and A-Levels
- Strong communication, both verbal and written
- Prior experience working with young people (tutoring, mentoring, volunteering)
- Sees this as a long-term step towards teaching, education psychology, or academia
