Cover Supervisor
Smart Teachers are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and confident Cover Supervisor a vibrant and inclusive secondary school in East London. This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring teacher or experienced classroom practitioner to support high-quality learning across the curriculum.
About the role
Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers
Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and maintain a positive learning environment
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Support pupils in completing their learning tasks and activities
Provide feedback to the relevant teacher on pupil progress and behaviour

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Cover Supervisor you will:
- Strong classroom presence with excellent communication skills
- Experience working with young people in a school or youth work setting (desirable)
- Flexible, proactive, and able to adapt to different subject areas
- Confident in managing behaviour and promoting a positive learning atmosphere
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
