Early Childhood Educator in Lewisham
A diverse and friendly nursery in Lewisham is now looking for a compassionate and hardworking Early Childhood Educator to join the dedicated team of staff, with an ASAP start.
This is a very rewarding role as you would really be making a difference to children's lives and development, seeing how they grow whilst in your care and preparing them for the next stage of their education. As an Early Childhood Educator you will:
- Assist children with their early reading and literacy and early maths skills development
- Lead and encourage interactive play and learning sessions, following the EYFS curriculum
- Create an environment that is language rich and and supportive
- Have good knowledge of early childhood development
- Support children's personal, social and emotional development
- Encourage child led activities that are stimulating for their imagination and creativity
- Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed and support the nursery management team
- Help with feeding and personal care
- Work collaboratively with a team of likeminded and dedicated staff
A relevant Early Years or Childcare qualification is essential and previous experience in a nursery setting is preferred for this Early Childhood Educator position.
This is a permanent full time Early Childhood Educator role to work 40 hours a week, with a competitive salary from £24k-£28k per annum.
