Nanny (French Speaking)
Our client in Hampstead is seeking a professional, French speaking Nanny, who will be responsible for looking after their 3 children (twins, 7 years old, and a 4 year old).
A French speaking Nanny would be essential for this role, as the Nanny will be required to speak French to the children, as well as helping them improve their reading and writing skills. The ideal candidate would be someone who possesses a self-starter attitude, confident in all areas of childcare and development, and is highly organised. They are a very active family who love spending a lot of time outdoors, so you should ideally possess a fun and energetic nature too.
You will be expected to engage the children in activities which stimulate and support them in reaching vital milestones. If you have had experience working with SEN children, this would be a bonus, but not vital, although you must be patient and very caring as one of the children has down's syndrome.
This is a semi-formal household, so you must be comfortable working within this kind of environment, as well as working alongside a small team of staff. You will be working in conjunction with two other Nannies, one whom is French/English speaking.
Typically working Monday to Friday and will be responsible for the following duties:
- Supporting the children’s morning routine
- Collecting them from school
- Helping the children with their French language
- Organising interesting activities within the home and externally, as well as taking the children to activities and playdates
- Ensuring the children are well-mannered and well-behaved
- Proxy parenting when principals are traveling on business
- Travelling with the family through school holidays so you must be flexible to travel with them
Please note that during the week downtime will be given while the children are at school but you will be required full-time during school holidays.
