Roadside Technician – Join Our Patrol Team

Become a key player in keeping drivers moving across the UK. As a Roadside Technician with a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) and at least two years of post‑qualification technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience, you’ll enjoy a rewarding blend of hands‑on engineering and outstanding customer service.

What You’ll Do

• Provide expert mechanical roadside repairs, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support.
• Handle a wide variety of calls – from flat batteries and tyre changes to complex fault‑finding.
• Deliver quick, confident solutions while reassuring members during stressful situations.
• Start and finish each day from your own driveway, managing demand‑led shifts (average 40 hours/week) with optional overtime.
• Maintain and operate a company‑provided van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools, and a diagnostic kit.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualification: Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of technical, electrical, and diagnostic work after qualification.
• Customer focus: A friendly, service‑oriented approach.
• Driving licence: Full UK licence.

Working Conditions & Compensation

• Base salary: £41,600 per annum (inclusive of London weighting allowance, if applicable).
• On‑target earnings (OTE): £66,000, with top performers earning significantly more through bonuses and enhanced overtime rates.
• Demand‑led shifts averaging 40 hours/week; overtime is available.
