About the English Department

The team delivers a rich curriculum spanning classic literature, creative writing and contemporary texts, with strong emphasis on discussion, debate and analytical thinking.
The Role
• Teach English across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities as you progress)
• Deliver engaging lessons that build confidence in reading, writing and communication
• Contribute to reading clubs, creative writing groups and wider enrichment
Requirements
• PGCE/Teacher Training programme and QTS (or pending)
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for literature
• Commitment to pedagogical development and high-quality teaching
