You’ll be responsible for:

  • Overseeing all technical and building services to keep OVO Arena Wembley operating safely, efficiently and to the highest professional standards.
  • Managing and maintaining all key venue systems—including plant, IT, electrical and fire safety—to ensure reliability and compliance.
  • Driving a strong Health & Safety culture in partnership with the Technical Director, ensuring full adherence to legislation and company policy.
  • Supporting the successful delivery of events from planning to completion, working closely with clients, contractors and internal teams.
  • Taking on duty management responsibilities to safeguard the venue’s operation and ensure exceptional experiences for visitors and staff.

You’ll have:

  • Proven experience managing and maintaining a busy, hands-on building—ideally within entertainment or a similar fast-paced venue environment.
  • Strong knowledge of building services, compliance, maintenance planning and budget control.
  • Confident leadership skills with experience managing teams, working unsupervised, and staying calm under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Excellent IT abilities (including Microsoft Office), strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused, team-oriented approach.
  • The flexibility and capability to meet the physical and operational demands of the role, including working at heights and during unsociable hours

Desirable Qualifications:

  • IOSHH Qualification
  • AutoCAD skills.
  • Asbestos Awareness Training
  • Knowledge of Fire Detection Systems
  • BS 7671 Electrical qualification
  • Knowledge of sustainability practices.
