The KS2 Teacher will deliver carefully sequenced lessons in English and mathematics, lead foundation subject enquiries and run targeted interventions. From the planning sessions before January 2026 through to full teaching after January 2026, the KS2 Teacher will be supported by subject leaders and a committed senior team.
KS2 Teacher — key responsibilities
• Plan and teach ambitious, knowledge-rich sequences across Key Stage 2 as the KS2 Teacher.
• Lead small-group boosters, use assessment to personalise learning and track progress as the KS2 Teacher.
• Contribute to subject development, peer coaching and whole-school projects as the KS2 Teacher.
The KS2 Teacher will be expected to join moderation prior to January 2026, attend induction in January 2026, and begin classroom duties from January 2026.
Candidate profile — KS2 Teacher
We seek a KS2 Teacher with QTS, confident practice across KS2 and a flair for engaging learners with rich content.
