Follow personalised plans and safeguarding procedures to help each learner thrive
Work closely with colleagues to create a positive, safe, and encouraging learning environment
Support communication and social skills development, using strategies like Makaton or PECS if trained
Help students build confidence, independence, and resilience in a variety of challenging situationsWho we want Experienced SEN Teaching Assistants, especially those familiar with autism, ADHD, or behavioural needs
Candidates who stay calm and positive, even when things get difficult
People with strong teamwork skills who are flexible and willing to learn
Those who hold an enhanced DBS (or are willing to apply for one through Remedy Education)
