Project Overview:

This role supports a major aviation capital programme delivered within a live operational airport environment.

Job Summary:

The Digitisation Lead is responsible for defining and delivering the information management and digital strategy for capital project delivery, enabling a digitally supported PMO, governing BIM, PMIS, and the CDE, and driving standardization and innovation across construction programmes.

Major Responsibilities:

• Define, implement, and maintain the project Information Management (IM) strategy and plans with for PMO in consultation with clients and stakeholders.
• Assess digital maturity, monitor IM plan performance, and continuously improve processes and workflows.
• Develop and flow down Exchange Information Requirements (EIR) through contracts, procurement, and delivery teams.
• Develop startegy, oversee configuration and management the Common Data Environment (CDE) as the single source of truth for all project information.
• Implement PMIS and integrated digital workflows to support information exchange, reporting, and automation.
• Lead BIM, IM, and digital roadmaps, ensuring governance, lifecycle compliance, and ISO 19650 alignment.
• Develop IM use cases, analytics, and dashboards to support project delivery and decision-making.
• Drive adoption of digital tools through training, user guides, UAT, and ongoing user support.
• Lead cross‑functional digital teams, champion innovation, and adopt emerging digital technologies.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science with 15+ years of experience in delivering large complex AEC projects, including 7+ years of experience in implementing and integrating PMIS technologies like systems like ACC, Aconex, ArcGIS, Unifier, Cost Management & reporting systems etc.
• Experience with implementing ‘right-sized’ digital and innovation solutions for client environments and requirements, ideally as a Delivery Partner or PMC as part of an integrated team.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Deep knowledge of information management, BIM, CDE, PMIS, and digital delivery within large projects and multi‑party environments.
• Proven experience developing and implementing IM strategies, BIM/IM roadmaps, and digital PMO approaches aligned to project delivery objectives.
• Strong capability in defining and flowing down Exchange Information Requirements (EIR) through contracts, procurement, and delivery teams.
• Demonstrated ability to define, configure, and integrate PMIS, dashboards, analytics, and automated workflows, including Power BI and GIS solutions.
• Experience leading requirements gathering, use‑case development, UAT, training, and user adoption for digital tools and platforms.
• Strong background in process mapping, digitalization, and change management within integrated project delivery environments.
• Knowledge of ERP, Asset Management, and enterprise systems, and their integration with project information workflows.
• Proven ability to assess digital maturity, conduct IM performance reviews, and drive continuous improvement.
• Hands-on experience configuring and governing Common Data Environment (CDE) as the single source of truth, aligned with ISO 19650 and lifecycle requirements.
• Leadership capability to guide cross‑functional digital teams, influence without authority, and champion innovation and emerging technologies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate digital strategies, governance, and value to senior clients and project stakeholders.
• Track record of working closely with clients, project leadership, SMEs, designers, and contractors to embed standards and best practices
