An Irish family relocating from Florida to London in September 2026 is looking for a housekeeper and nanny to help make their new house close to Richmond Park feel like home. The family comprises two parents and four young daughters, the youngest of whom is one. The role is a mix of keeping a lovely home running beautifully and being a warm, steady presence around the girls.

Their housekeeper in Florida has been with them for almost four years and is much loved, and they would be delighted to build that kind of relationship again, someone who becomes part of the rhythm of family life for years.

The Home

The family is settling into a substantial detached home moments from Richmond Park. The house is beautifully kept and generously sized, and the housekeeper will take ownership of its daily presentation and smooth running. A separate cleaning team attends one to two days a week for a full deep clean, so this role is about maintaining high standards day by day, not heavy deep cleaning.

The Role

The position is weighted towards hands on housekeeping, with two lovely fixed parts of the day spent with the children. The morning begins at 7am, helping get the three older girls ready for school, breakfasts, hair brushed, into uniforms and out of the door. Later in the morning, on around three days each week, the housekeeper has sole care of the youngest daughter for a couple of hours while Mum is out. Otherwise Mum is very hands on and leads all childcare, so the balance of the role is housekeeping, but someone who genuinely enjoys being around children is essential. The girls are easygoing, sweet natured and used to having someone lovely in their lives.

Duties include:
School mornings with the three older girls, breakfasts, hair, uniforms and out of the door
Sole care of the one year old for a couple of hours, around three days a week
Daily housekeeping, cleaning and immaculate presentation throughout the home
Daily food preparation for the whole family, including peeling and prepping vegetables
Light laundry support, with most laundry done by Mum
Household organisation, tidying and keeping every room guest ready
Working alongside the cleaning team on their days
Being on hand for contractors and tradespeople
The occasional errand, though Mum handles most errands and all shopping
Occasional babysitting by arrangement

She has never needed a list of instructions, just an early steer on how the family like things done. Over time she became a trusted support to Mum and a valued part of the household, while remaining happily self sufficient. She has become part of their family. They will:
Have good housekeeping experience and take real pride in their standards
Have a sharp eye for detail, noticing the marks and little things others walk past
Be calm, organised and naturally proactive
Work happily on their own initiative once shown how the family like things done
Genuinely enjoy children and be a warm, easy presence around four young girls
Ideally speak Spanish. The girls have learnt Spanish from their current housekeeper and the family would love to keep the language alive. A strong preference, not a requirement
