Part-Time Afterschool Nanny in Orpington, Job ID J229BC
A family based in Orpington (BR5) is looking for an experienced, flexible, and caring Part-Time Afterschool Nanny to support their 6-year-old child.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of professional private childcare experience, a nurturing approach to afterschool routines, and strong educational support skills. A driving license is a welcome bonus.
A valid first aid qualification is needed for this position.
Duties include:
- ensuring the safety, well-being, and overall development of the child
- bathing and maintaining proper personal hygiene routines
- preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the child
- engaging the child in interactive play, educational activities, park visits, and reading books to encourage early literacy
- providing homework assistance and supporting the child's educational growth
- establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support structure and development
- managing light, child-focused housekeeping duties, including keeping the child's bedroom and play areas clean, organized, and tidy
The family is looking for someone who can start on 28 September 2026.
