Training Officer

We’re currently recruiting for a Trainer to join our client’s internal Learning & Development team. This is a varied role, with responsibility for designing and delivering sector-specific training to employees and key stakeholders across the organisation. You’ll work closely with operational and service-delivery teams to ensure staff have the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to support people experiencing homelessness and other vulnerabilities. Salary up to £35,000. What makes this role particularly interesting is that it’s not purely classroom-based. You’ll have the opportunity to identify training needs, develop new learning programmes and help shape the organisation’s wider training offering.
\n Key responsibilities \n You’ll be responsible for: \n- \n
- Scoping, designing and delivering engaging training to a range of audiences. \n
- Identifying training needs and opportunities across the organisation. \n
- Developing new learning content and continually improving existing training. \n
- Exploring potential external training partnerships and working with relevant organisations. \n
- Working closely with operational and service-delivery teams to understand their requirements. \n
- Ensuring training remains relevant and reflects changing organisational and service needs. \n
- Bringing creativity and innovation to the way training is delivered. \n

- \n
- A relevant social-care qualification at SVQ Level 3 or above. \n
- A recognised training qualification, or a willingness to work towards one. \n
- Previous experience within the care, social-care or charity sector. \n
- Experience developing and delivering training to different audiences. \n
- Experience identifying training needs and creating appropriate learning materials. \n
- Knowledge of the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) and the wider social-care environment. \n
- Strong communication and practical problem-solving skills. \n
- A creative and innovative approach to training, with the ability to adapt to changing organisational priorities. \n
