Senior Electrical Engineer
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will lead electrical design on major projects across healthcare, aviation, commercial and defence sectors, with a focus on collaboration and sustainable design.
Lead projects within your discipline and across multidisciplinary teams
Deliver feasibility studies, concept design, detailed design and construction support
Work independently and take ownership of technical delivery
Manage design documentation including specifications and performance reports
Supervise and mentor junior team members
Oversee resourcing and project timelines
Engage directly with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders
Lead or contribute to feasibility studies and overall project delivery
Your Team
35 engineers across Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health
Offices in Brighton, Southampton, Heathrow, Basingstoke and Guildford
Flexible working between office locations and home
Projects include Gatwick and Heathrow Airports, Royal Berkshire Hospital and other public/private sector schemes
Direct reporting line to the Technical Director for Mechanical Engineering
Support from graduates, assistants, principals, BIM and sustainability experts
What We're Looking For
Degree in Building Services Engineering or relevant discipline
Working towards IET Chartered status or equivalent
Strong knowledge of UK building services regulations and design standards
Experience leading multidisciplinary design teams
Ability to communicate design intent clearly and effectively
Proficiency with design tools and RevitMEP or other 3D software
Key Electrical Design Experience
Low voltage distribution and standby generation
UPS systems and cable calculations (manual and software)
Lighting and small power systems
Fire alarms, access control, security, disabled call systems
Lightning protection and structured cabling design
