Nursery Practitioner in Catford

It is important for the suitable Nursery Practitioner to be truly passionate about supporting young children's growth and development - you are playing a key part in preparing them for their future and their personal, social and emotional development at such an important time in their lives.
This welcoming nursery is looking for someone who has strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and a good understanding of children's learning and development, and it is a great place for a Nursery Practitioner who wants to progress in their career, as they offer opportunities for professional development and further training.
With a large garden space and specialist activities, any dedicated Nursery Practitioner would be happy working in this nursery that provides a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for every child, with a dynamic and child-led curriculum. Working full-time, you will plan and deliver activities around this curriculum, ensuring every child is able to thrive.
The supportive management team within this nursery really care about every member of staff, and offer various bonuses throughout the year. The nursery is focused on staff wellbeing, with quarterly wellbeing meetings held with the Staff Wellbeing Manager, and a staff wellbeing app available too. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will have opportunities for career progression and further career development through further training provided, fully funded by the nursery. With regular pay rises, the initial salary would be from £25k-£26.5k per annum. You will have 28 days holiday including bank holidays, plus 1 extra holiday day every year (up to 3 years), and the nursery is closed over Christmas and New Year.
At minimum a Level 2/equivalent qualification in Early Years or Childcare is essential for this Nursery Practitioner position, and prior experience in a nursery or similar childcare setting is desirable.
This is a permanent Nursery Practitioner position to start ASAP, and is full-time to work Monday-Friday, 8:00am-6:00pm. Located in Catford, Lewisham, this nursery is easily accessed thanks to excellent transport links and free staff parking, as well as a cycle to work scheme provided by the nursery.
