About the Role
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a vital role in helping students develop positive attitudes, manage their emotions, and engage effectively with learning. Working closely with teachers, pastoral teams, and SEN staff, you will support students on a one-to-one and small-group basis-encouraging progress, building confidence, and promoting good behaviour throughout the school day.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Supporting students in managing challenging behaviours and developing social-emotional skills.

• Building strong, trusting relationships to promote engagement and resilience.

• Working collaboratively with teaching and pastoral staff to ensure consistent behaviour support strategies.

• Acting as a positive role model and fostering a safe, respectful learning environment.

• Tracking progress and providing feedback to staff and parents where appropriate.
