Food Service Assistant

As a Food Service Assistant with Sodexo, you’ll play a vital part in delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality catering to all staff and guests. You will support daily service operations, uphold food safety and health & safety standards, and work collaboratively with the Sodexo team to create a positive and professional dining experience.

What you'll do:

• Deliver a consistent, high-quality catering service to staff and visitors.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times – responding positively, politely, and promptly to requests.
• Support with food preparation (including packed lunches), dinner service, and counter service.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all catering and dining areas.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, food safety, allergen management, fire, COSHH, and other statutory regulations.
• Rotate and manage stock effectively.
• Participate in performance reviews and ongoing training to support your personal development.
• Work flexibly, assisting colleagues and responding to reasonable requests from management.
