- Diagnose and repair faults across electrical, HVAC, lighting, power, water and building services systems.
- Monitor plant performance and proactively identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency and compliance.
- Escort and manage specialist subcontractors carrying out maintenance and repair activities.
- Maintain all statutory compliance records, maintenance documentation and asset information.
- Build strong working relationships with the client, acting as a trusted technical advisor on site.
- Support the delivery of minor project works, upgrades and installations.
- Ensure all activities are undertaken safely and in accordance with current health & safety legislation.
About You
- Qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering through a recognised apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent.
- Proven experience working within commercial buildings, facilities management or building services environments.
- Strong knowledge of both mechanical and electrical building systems.
- Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Experience delivering both planned and reactive maintenance.
- Confident working independently and managing your own workload.
- Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
- 18th Edition qualification would be advantageous for electrically biased candidates.
