A leading SaaS organization, partnered with Aquent, is seeking a passionate and visually driven Content Designer to join their innovative Marketing Team. As an integral part of a fast-paced, cross-functional sprint team, you'll shape how customers experience and engage with cutting-edge products, driving adoption and empowering user success. This is your opportunity to transform complex technical information into captivating visual narratives that resonate with a diverse audience.
As a Content Designer, you will be the creative force behind a wide range of customer-facing content. You’ll blend your design prowess with exceptional writing skills to create visually stunning and user-friendly assets. Collaborating closely with product managers, UX designers, engineers, and marketers, you’ll contribute to iterative product development and impactful marketing campaigns.
This is a 12 months, hybrid contract, the rate will be confirmed on Monday 8th Sept. This role is open for a limited time. Due to the high volume of applicants, we may be unable to reply to each applicant individually.
What You'll Do:
- Design and deliver impactful, customer-centric content that seamlessly integrates compelling visuals and concise messaging.
- Craft engaging assets across the entire customer journey, including onboarding flows, user guides, in-app messaging, email campaigns, customer success stories, event materials, and knowledge base visuals.
- Collaborate within a sprint team, contributing to iterative product and campaign development alongside diverse stakeholders.
- Transform complex technical information into accessible, engaging, and visually appealing content for a wide audience.
- Leverage design tools like Figma, Canva, Illustrator, or Webflow to create and prototype exceptional visual experiences.
- Utilize customer data, feedback, and testing results to continuously refine content for maximum clarity and effectiveness.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Experience as a Content Designer, Visual Designer, or Marketing Designer with exceptional writing skills, preferably in a SaaS or tech environment.
- A compelling portfolio showcasing visually rich, customer-centric content design work (emails, onboarding flows, visuals, presentations, etc.).
- Proficiency in design and layout tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Webflow).
- Working knowledge of UX/UI principles and accessibility best practices.
- Excellent storytelling, writing, and editing skills across various formats.
- Proven ability to thrive in agile or sprint-based environments, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A strategic mindset, viewing content as a key driver of customer outcomes.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience with motion graphics or video tools.
- Familiarity with design systems, component libraries, and brand governance.
- Experience designing for SaaS customer marketing use cases: onboarding, adoption, and advocacy.
- A background in customer education, CX, or support content design.
