Job Description



As a CARE Professional at Shoreham, Petts Wood & Longfield , you will travel to clients’ homes and provide a range of care services that enable them to continue living independently in their own homes.

At Home Instead, we provide non-medical services (personal care, house-help and companionship), and we’re looking for people with kind, compassionate hearts who want to make a genuine difference to our clients’ quality of life.

Some necessary requirements include:

  • Weekend availability
  • A full UK driving licence

This role could involve:

  • Morning routines, including personal care such as bathing
  • Evening routines before bed
  • Helping with jobs around the home
  • Cooking meals
  • Taking clients shopping or to appointments
  • Driving them to day centres, church, or local activities
  • Encouraging hobbies and interests
  • Or simply providing them with company and companionship

Senior Care Professional (20 hours contract)

    • Evening and weekend availability required

Qualifications



You do not need any experience or particular

qualifications

to become a CARE Professional. However, it would be useful to have some experience of working in a care setting or interacting with older people. Possible experience for the role would include:

  • A personal experience of caring for a family member or voluntary experience.
  • Passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service.
  • Reliable, trustworthy and respectful.
  • Enjoying building professional friendships and comfortable in spending time in the company of others.
